The Danish Academy of Technical Sciences is an independent non-profit organisation founded in 1937.
It has about 800 fellows and partner members, approximately half from academia and half from private companies.
They include research directors, business executives, leading researchers and experts within the fields of technology, technology management and related topics.
ATV works to improve the framework for science and technology research and application in Denmark.
Current areas of focus include, among others, technology for sustainability, science and engineering in education, future industrial production and digitalisation.
