Award to Victor Darde

Victor Darde has received in Paris December 11th the Trophées Performance organized by Véolia environnement in the category Energie.

This award was given for his work during his master’s thesis at the department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering of DTU. The thesis dealt with the environmental impacts of CO2 capture using aqueous alkanolamines and was supervised by Erling H. Stenby. It involved a modeling of the process in order to optimize its configuration, and an experimental work to investigate ways to reduce the energy consumption by using blends of amines in the solvent.

Véolia Environnement is the world leader in environmental services. Each year, the “Trophées Performance Veolia Environnement” are awarded to the best end of studies thesis.
