At CERE we are very proud that our colleague and faculty over many years, Nicolas von Solms, has been appointed full professor at the Technical University of Denmark (Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering).

We warmly congratulate Nicolas for this well-deserved promotion - recognition of his achievements and we are of course greatly looking forward to further collaborations also in the future.

Research area and ambitions within the area:

Focus on Chemical Engineering fundamentals, especially appliled thermodynamics used i.e. in relation to  CCUS (Carbon Capture, Transport, Use and Storage. It should be the vision to secure KT a leading role also in connection to CO2 covering the full CCUS value chain, and considering a variety of CO2 abatement technologies, with an emphasis on fundamental insights as a route to creating meaningful technological advances.
