Michele Mattei has successfully defended his PhD on Friday 26.09.2014.
The examination committee consisted of professor Krist V. Gernaey (DTU), Prof. Lars Wiebe from DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences Denmark ApS and Dr.Ir. Antoon ten Kate from AkzoNobel Research in the Netherlands.
Michele's PhD is entitled "Advances in Chemical Product Design - An Integrated methodology for emulsified formulated product design" and it has been supervised by professors Rafiqul Gani (CAPEC-Process) as main advisor and Georgios Kontogeorgis (CERE) as co-advisor.
Michele Mattei's PhD work has been highly successful and resulted to 4 peer-review publications and book chapters while one more article is under preparation.
Michele is working since September 1 at one of CERE's consortium member companies (AkzoNobel) in the Netherlands.
