Shell hydrate cell

Cylindrical semi-batch cell for studying natural gas hydrates.

Based on visual and pressure decline detection. Maximum pressure 50 bar and temperature range -20 - 40°C.

The Shell cell is so-called because it was originally sponsored by a grant from Shell. It has since been used in a number of other applications.
