Our equipments allow us to combine Rock Mechanics with Rock Physics.
The Geotechnique lab consists of load-frames for rock mechanical testing. All rock mechanical tests can be combined with sound wave velocity and electrical resistivity measurement.
Tests are typically performed in triaxial Hoek cells, which also allow flow through experiments. Our set up allows maintaining any stress condition (axial, radial and pore pressure) up to 50 MPa.
